Terms of Service

Ruff Work Dog Training

By purchasing, registering for, attending, accessing, or using any Ruff Work Dog Training seminar, guided seminar, video feedback service, written material, recording, or other training resource, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Services Provided

Ruff Work Dog Training provides dog training education, leadership guidance, online seminars, guided support, recorded seminar access, and video-based feedback.

These services are designed to help dog owners create calmer structure, improve communication, and better manage behavior in the home.

Ruff Work Dog Training does not guarantee a specific outcome. Dog behavior depends on many factors, including the dog’s temperament, history, health, environment, owner consistency, household participation, and follow-through.

Client Responsibility

You are responsible for safely implementing the guidance provided.

Training recommendations must be used calmly, consistently, and appropriately for your dog’s size, age, temperament, health, and behavior history.

You are responsible for supervising your dog, using safe equipment, and preventing situations that may put people, animals, or property at risk.

If you are unsure whether a recommendation is safe for your dog, stop and seek individualized professional help.

Safety and Aggression Concerns

Online seminars, guided seminars, recordings, and video feedback are not appropriate for every behavior issue.

Dogs with a history of biting, severe aggression, serious resource guarding, panic, unsafe handling concerns, or behavior that could put people or animals at risk may need in-person professional support.

Ruff Work Dog Training may decline to provide recommendations, stop feedback, or refer you to another qualified professional if a situation appears unsafe or outside the scope of the service.

Do not use collar holds, lines, confinement, or other handling tools if your dog has a history of biting, guarding, panic, aggression, or unsafe reactions to handling unless you are working directly with a qualified professional.

Not Veterinary Advice

Ruff Work Dog Training does not provide veterinary, medical, nutritional, or diagnostic advice.

Behavior can be affected by pain, illness, injury, medication, diet, hormones, age, or other health concerns. If your dog’s behavior may be related to a medical issue, contact your veterinarian.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of registration or purchase.

Ruff Work Dog Training may use third-party payment processors, such as Stripe, to securely process payments.

Prices may change at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Recordings

Seminar purchases are non-refundable once registration is complete, access has been provided, or the seminar has begun.

If you are unable to attend a live seminar, a recording may be provided when available. Missing the live seminar does not automatically qualify for a refund.

If you contact Ruff Work Dog Training before the seminar begins, rescheduling may be offered at Ruff Work Dog Training’s discretion when space is available.

No-shows, missed emails, personal scheduling conflicts, technology issues, or failure to attend the live session are not eligible for refunds.

Video feedback and guided support services are non-refundable once review or feedback work has started.

Technology Requirements

Clients are responsible for having a working internet connection, device, email access, and any required video meeting software.

Ruff Work Dog Training is not responsible for a client’s inability to attend, access, view, submit, or participate in a service due to personal technology issues, internet outages, missed emails, incorrect contact information, spam filters, device problems, or software issues.

Video Feedback

If you purchase or receive video feedback, you are responsible for submitting clear, safe, and appropriate video footage.

Do not place yourself, your dog, another person, or another animal in danger in order to capture a video.

Video feedback is based only on what can be observed in the submitted footage and the information you provide. It is not a substitute for an in-person evaluation when safety concerns, aggression, or serious behavior problems are present.

Ruff Work Dog Training may decline to provide feedback on submitted footage if the situation appears unsafe, unclear, outside the scope of the service, or better suited for in-person professional help.

Client-submitted videos will only be used to provide training feedback unless you give separate permission for another use.

Recordings and Access

Live seminars may be recorded.

Clients may not record, copy, download, share, distribute, resell, teach from, publicly post, or otherwise reproduce live seminars, seminar recordings, written materials, downloads, feedback, or other Ruff Work Dog Training content without written permission.

Access to recordings, digital materials, or online resources may be limited to the timeframe stated at purchase or provided by Ruff Work Dog Training.

Intellectual Property

All Ruff Work Dog Training materials, including seminar content, written guidelines, videos, recordings, downloads, handouts, graphics, feedback, and other resources, are owned by Ruff Work Dog Training unless otherwise stated.

You may use purchased materials for your own household and personal dog training purposes only.

You may not copy, share, resell, distribute, teach from, modify, publicly post, or use Ruff Work Dog Training materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

Communication

By registering for or purchasing a Ruff Work Dog Training service, you agree to receive emails related to your purchase, seminar access, recordings, scheduling, service updates, follow-up information, and customer support.

You may also receive occasional marketing emails related to Ruff Work Dog Training services. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and checking your inbox, spam folder, and promotions folder for service-related messages.

Limitation of Liability

Dog training involves living animals, and behavior can be unpredictable.

Ruff Work Dog Training is not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, bites, scratches, property damage, accidents, veterinary costs, or other incidents that occur while you are implementing training guidance, handling your dog, using training tools, managing your dog, or participating in services.

You agree to use your own judgment and seek additional professional help when needed.

Results Disclaimer

Ruff Work Dog Training provides education, guidance, and feedback, but results are not guaranteed.

Progress depends on consistent implementation, household follow-through, the dog’s temperament, prior learning history, environment, health, and behavior patterns.

Failure to follow the guidance consistently may affect results.
